The core flow

Five steps from call to handoff.

Whether Angel answers immediately or only when your team cannot, every call follows a clear path based on your settings.

  1. 01

    The call reaches Angel

Forward calls immediately, after hours, or when your team does not answer.

  2. 02

    Angel identifies the need

Angel determines whether it is a service request, question, callback, or possible emergency.

  3. 03

    Details are captured

Name, number, address, issue, urgency, and the information your instructions require.

  4. 04

    The correct path begins

Routine calls are summarized. Urgent after-hours calls can trigger on-call routing.

  5. 05

    Your team gets the handoff

Notifications and call history show what happened and what still needs attention.

One Angel, two call flows

Open hours and after hours work differently.

Configure separate behavior so callers get the right response for the time of day and the reason they called.

During business hours

Keep the phone from becoming the bottleneck.

Use Angel from the first ring or as missed-call and overflow coverage. Angel captures service requests and sends a clear handoff so your office can follow up without replaying voicemail.

  1. 1Answers using your configured greeting and business information.
  2. 2Identifies the type of request.
  3. 3Captures the details your team needs.
  4. 4Sends the summary to the people you choose.

After hours

Every caller still gets a useful response.

Angel can explain that the business is closed, gather the request, and follow either the routine callback path or the emergency path you configure.

  1. 1Captures the caller’s name, number, address, and issue.
  2. 2Determines whether urgent service is being requested.
  3. 3Records callback information for routine requests.
  4. 4Starts on-call routing for configured emergencies.

Emergency escalation

If the first technician does not answer, Angel keeps working through your plan.

Angel contacts on-call technicians in the order you set and follows your retry settings. If no technician confirms they can help after those attempts, Angel notifies your designated backup contact, such as a manager, owner, or office contact.

Angel does not guarantee that a technician will answer or that help will arrive. Angel is not a replacement for 911 or public emergency services.

The team handoff

Your team gets the details to follow up.

Call summaries and activity history give your team the information needed to follow up, understand urgency, and see the routing status.

  • Caller name
  • Confirmed callback number
  • Service address
  • Issue summary
  • Preferred callback window
  • Urgency and routing status
